MFTGDT challenge march: If you can dream it...

First of all: A warm welcome to Katja, great you're following me! I couldn't find the adress of your blog, so if you would post the adress in the comment-section, I'll follow you!

I've made a card again. This one is for the GDT-sketch challenge at MFT.

I've used an older ALM this time: Dream Big. She's really sweet: lying in her moon, dreaming about anything that could happen.... 

Here are some details:

I hope it is visible on the last picture: I added some glitter on the moon with a Spica pen. It gives a really beautiful fine, dusty sparkle....love it!
These are the materials I've used: Papers from MME-Sweetest Thing-Bluebell. Stamp and sentiment: MFT: ALM-Dream Big. I colored her with DistressInk refills. Dies: MFT-DieNamics: Fishtail Flag Stax, Fishtail Layers Flag Stax, Stacking Stars. I also made a little edge around the blue-white paper with the small stitches-stamp from the LJD-Hearts and stitches stampset. Really love that one!

Well....crossing my fingers again for this contest...

Sketchchallenge Bij Oma Dee #3

 Goedenavond allemaal!

Bij Oma Dee heeft weer een leuke sketchchallenge. Dit is de sketch:

 Wat details:

Ben weer heerlijk aan de gang gegaan met MFT-spullies en MME-papier, van de serie The Sweetest thing. Er staat nog een GDTchallenge kaartje voor MFT in de lift, en dan moet ik nog 1 paperpadje gebruiken en dan heb ik ze alle 4 van deze serie weer in mijn handen gehad! En dan....mag ik spelen met 2 nieuwe blokjes van MME van de nieuwe serie. 

Stempeltje is een A la Mode van MFT, net als het tagje waar de tekst opstaat. Bloemetjes en de fishtail zijn (3 keer raden hihi!) ook van MFT.

Really got to finish my cards more on time. But on the other hand, I made a card again, and that's a good thing!

This is my card with a great MFT-ALM stamp: It's tea time! Really love this one!

The cute cup is a chipboard element from Maya Road. I put some dp on it. Papers are from MME again, The Sweetest thing. Colored the girl with DistressInks again. Really love that ink to colour with!

Sketch challenge 1 Bij Oma Dee

Goedenavond allemaal!

Leuk je weer te zien. Fijne kerstdagen gehad? Wij wel, lekker rustig aan gedaan. Heerlijk!

Via het blog van Inge kwam ik op het blog van Bij Oma Dee terecht. En daar zijn ze aan het challengen gegaan! Leuk, want mijn kaartenvoorraad is laatst behoorlijk geplunderd, dus aanvulling is welkom!

Ik maakte met de sketch de volgende twee kaartjes:

Ik heb heerlijk gespeeld met mijn nieuwe MFT-aanwinsten: de Postage Stamp Stax en de Fishtail (Layers) Stax. Papier is van Authentique. Verder heb ik ALM-Oh Baby ingekleurd met Distress inkt, de tekstjes komen van een set van CC-design. De StackingStars, Hearts a Plenty en het label (alles MFT), wat pareltjes, vilt en een stukje twine zorgden voor de afwerking.

It's been awhile...i know! And I'm ashamed.....sorry! Been a bad bad blogger!
So...now it's time for a new post (finally!) and this is for the MFTGDT-challenge again. They provided us with a great sketch, this is the card I made:

 I used the great ALM "You sparkle". I got this sweet girl from Marijke, for my birthday. Thanx again girl!!!

Here's a close-up from the left corner:

Used the Let it snowflake-DieNamics and Hearts a Plenty-DieNamics. The front snowflake was embossed with white embossingpowder (1 layer) and clear-glitter embossingpowder (2 layers). Multiple embossing layers give it just an extra dimension I think!

Other supplies: Hemp-cord, SentimentStrips-DieNamics, Distress inks (refills), Stickles and two small strips of WashTape.

MFT GDT August

Hello everybody!

MFT is having a great challenge again, with a great sketch. Really couldn't resist making 2 cards! ;-)

For my first card I used this sweetie with her little bird. Papers are from MME, but I don't know what series they are.

I used the Musical Notes, Fresh cut Grass, File tab and  Upsy Daisy DieNamics. I kinda cheated with the FileTab: It was too big, but the little tab from the mini-tabs-set was too small..... So I cutted the big tab, placed the text at the right side, and then cut the excess with the die. The edge around the flower-paper is hand-stitched. I coloured my PI girl with Distressinks, her dress is paperpieced. She also has some shine and bling on her shoes, in her hair and on the little heart (thanks to my perlen-pen ;-)  )

When I finished this card I really wanted to do another one......so....this ALM-girl jumped out of my collection of stamps:

Used MME papers (IndieChic-Nutmeg), Distress Inks for colouring and the File tab and Hearts a plenty DieNamics. I paperpieced her coat and boots so they match ;-). Handstitched the inner square again. Some ZVA pearls give this card its bling.

MFT Wednesday Stamp Club 66

Hey everybody!

MFT presented another great sketch, and I couldn't resist the chance to do it three times!! But hey.....great sketch, great stamps and some new dies and papers....so.....how couldn't I???

The first one is a real birthday card. What else could it be with this great cake on it??? I allready have a slight idea who is getting this card on her birthday ;-) The gorgeous papers are from Memorybox.

 The next one is with the new PI from the last MFT release. After getting the PI with the adorable kitten, I obviously HAD to get this sweet little girl and her puppy too! The paper is from Memorybox, from a set I sort of "swapped" with her (hey girly!) ;-)
 

And the last sweetie...... The Purrrrfect girl I was talking about ;-). The papers are from MME, Hazel.

All the girls are coloured with Distress Inks. Some MFT dies and my PerlenPens did the rest!

MFT GDT March

Wow...I actually still can't believe what I've just done.... I entered the MyFavouriteThings GuestDesignTeam call!!! The theme for this month is "Hit the Books". When I read that, I instantly knew what to make....and that doesn't happen too often to me!

I always ask myself "will I be good enough? Is my card beautiful enough? Would they want someone who isn't the best Blogger in the world?" But still....this challenge really inspired me. And being a bad blogger should move into being a better blogger!

So. Off to the crafting-table for a few evenings to create the following project: a *book-card thing* ;-) for my sister who is about to graduate in June this year.

 For the front of my project, I used an old MFT-sketch, I believe it was number 37. Papers are from BasicGrey, called Oxford. Really matching the theme!!!! See the book this girly is reading? Paperpieced it! Great technique! The rest of the girl and books were coloured with DistressInks.

On the back the really cool LayeredLabelDie-set. Have to have that set....maybe sometime this year! The sentiment is from MFT, Essentials Sentiments.

And a look at the inside of my project. At the left side I created a pocket, so a label could slide in. I put the studying A La Mode girl on the label, and paperpieced her book again, so a little bit of the front of my project is on the inside too. My sister is a *cat-person*, so the cute little PI-purrfect girl, had to be in this gift for her! Doily (faux crochet oval), border (faux crochet), die (SayWhat!) and Sentiment (Essential Sentiments) from MFT. Sentiment on label from Unity Stamp, heartfelt sentiments. Really fitted the theme! The cute corners on the right side, and the label on the left side were cut with the Cricut. (Thanx Ellen!!!)

 And a look of my little book closed. The "pages" are made from 4 pieces of kraft cardstock (one for every side). Score them every cm, and "fold" them together. It was a little bit of a fight with those things, but the result is great (I have to say...hahaha!)

A few big *thank you*'s are for Ellen and Marijke.
They really helped me with this project. The three of us own each a collection of MFT-supplies, so combining these three collections, gave me the opportunity to make this. The cricut I mentioned is Ellen's. So again: Thanx Ellen!!
And last but not least thanx for welcoming me on your great weekend in Diessen. Really unexpected for me: thinking to be just one day from home, and ending up staying a whole weekend. I really enjoyed it, thanx thanx thanx girls!!!! Love ya!
